If I am from out of town must I make my own travel arrangements for the interview and dinner?

Yes. Please reach out to the Student Affairs team at the email above if you need assistance with some aspect of these arrangements and we will do our best to help.

Where will the interviews be held?

Interviews will generally be held at a location in downtown Houston. Details will be communicated with finalists selected for the interview.

What are the parking guidelines at the site of the interview and dinner?

These will depend on the date, time, and place of interview. A committee member will be in touch with you to explain your options at the time of setting up your interview.

Can I save my application and go back to it later?

No. You will only be able to click Submit once during the application process. We recommend that you copy the questions for the two essays required on the application into a word processing application and formulate your answer there. Save you answers, then copy them to the form when you are ready with all the information requested on the application.

Are students currently in their final semester of studies eligible if they will graduate in May?

No. Since the scholarship is paid to the business school towards the next semester’s tuition, those graduating in May of the award year will not be eligible to apply.

Are non-business majors eligible to apply?

Business major or minor students are eligible. Students not majoring or minoring in business are not eligible.

Must applicants be of Asian origin?

No. However, applicants - irrespective of ethnic background - must be involved in an on-campus or off-campus Asian or Pacific Islander group or community.
