This event is an interactive session to discuss the importance of communication as well as techniques of achieving good leadership communication while building team relationships. The framework of this presentation will include 5 different levels of leadership and communication style through various levels, tactical techniques for good leadership communication and various communication formats.

Dylan Jacobson is a strategically minded business leader with 13 years of experience in the Energy Industry. Dylan leverages his strong EQ & leadership skills combined with extensive technical experience covering field operations, integrity and maintenance of oil & gas production, gathering, transmission & refining.
​
Dylan’s motto, “Say Yes”, led him to start his career in the outback of Queensland, Australia. There he worked to optimize the efficiency and environmental performance of several oil & gas production facilities. Moving into a Mechanical Projects space, he worked on emissions monitoring and mechanical integrity projects for Coal Seam Gas production. In 2012 Dylan seized the opportunity to move to the USA to work on Mechanical Integrity of offshore facilities in the US Gulf of Mexico, Brazil, and Norway; helping to bring facilities to new standards implemented after the Macondo disaster by the newly formed BSEE (Bureau Safety and Environmental Enforcement). He also served as the representative from Oceaneering International on the panel for American Petroleum institute’s (API) Center for Offshore Safety (COS).

After leading and inspiring large global teams as Partner at PinnacleART, Dylan was inspired to further pursue his passion and form Modus Operations LLC. He now seeks to provide industry leading Project Management, Operations Management, and Leadership coaching to the energy and technology industries, with a focus on developing young leaders.
Dylan holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering and is a certified API-510 In Service Pressure Vessel Inspector.
