Join us for an interactive and engaging workshop hosted by The Ascend Houston Chapter and inspired by Steven Covey's 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, specifically focusing on Habit 3: Put First Things First. Through thoughtful reflection and group discussions, we'll explore Covey's principles, including the Time Matrix, and other theories focusing on prioritization, and importance. Gain practical tools to master productivity, identify priorities, and overcome time-wasting habits. Whether you're a student, professional, or seeking personal growth, this session will empower you to take charge of your time, achieve balance, and boost efficiency in all areas of life. Session will be 60 minutes for 1 credit of CPE. Light dinner will be served.

Seema Grover started her career in the EY Assurance Practice for 4.5 years before joining the Siegfried Group in 2016 in the Chicago Market. Seema moved to Houston in 2022 and now is an Associate Director in Houston focused on business development and building relationships with people and organizations in Texas. She previously sat on the board of Junior Achievement in Chicago, is a member of the local Ascend Houston Chapter, the liaison for Siegfried’s Strategic Sponsorship with FEI, and is looking forward to building new connections in Houston. Seema has her Bachelors in Accounting and Masters in Professional Accounting from University of Saskatchewan and her Canadian CPA.
