Baq Shah
Partner, PwC
Baq is a Principal in PwC’s M&A practice with 20+ years of industry, project management, and leadership experience and 14+ years of full cycle domestic and international M&A across the deal life cycle.
Relevant experience:

Led numerous M&A Deals across multiple industries with a focus on financial services, and sub-focus on Divestitures.

Prior to PwC, Baq worked across several GE businesses, including GE Capital, GE Energy, and GE Global, as a Senior Director in the Corporate Development team; & led Corp Development at Target.

Baq served in the military as a US Army Corps of Engineers Officer.

BS from United States Military Academy at West Point; MBA from University of Texas, Austin, GE FMP.
Baq’s M&A experience includes over 14 years advising clients on the full life cycle of a deal. From portfolio acquisitions, to complex business and corporate transformational deals, Baq has led, advised, & delivered. He has advised multinational strategic clients and financial buyers in complex transactions. Baq has significant experience in operations synergy assessments, information systems, finance, and transition services agreement structuring, costing and execution, and assisting with the development and execution of post-acquisition integration and carve-out plans.
